How To Turn Your Content into Cash Using Three-Part Sales Funnel and Make Money On Autopilot

The biggest pain for coaches is that they end up working in their business and not on their business. This happens in a number of ways, including: not having a plan, not building a viable marketing sales funnel, not tracking their progress, not having any clear way to know what their ideal client looks like or how to get them, and so on.

Social media is a fantastic tool for coaches, creators, freelancers, small business owners, and entrepreneurs to connect and engage with their target audience. But it’s becoming more and more difficult to use social to build your brand and stand out from the crowd. One very common question I see and hear often, “How do I stand out from the ocean/sea of sameness?”. Instead of competing with your industry peers on social media - whether it’s the posting frequency, content quality, variety, platform saturation, offer uniqueness or pricing, etc, one thing is certain.



People are not buying coaching.

People buy transformation.

People buy coaches.

People buy YOU.



That means your offers and services always need to have that little bit of you in there. Just a sprinkling of your story, journey, content, personality, and well, your heart.

That’s why most social media coaches, trainers, and consultants use a three-part sales funnel for their business. If you're ready to make some money online, you want to set yourself up for success.

Sales funnel is a super effective marketing strategy to structure your business, and the goal of the funnel is to convert your social media followers into paying clients, on autopilot.

So whether you’re a coach, creator, service-based small business owner to an entrepreneur, you can envision and create the business you want. It’s a system that made it possible for a single person even on a tight budget (e.g. solopreneur) to manage and run a business without the need of a large team (That's the best way to run a business, isn't it? It's what works for smart and savvy marketers as well.)



Most of my friends know that I am a professional hair and makeup artist since 2018. Oh, did I also share that I am an introvert (also a false extrovert) after doing a career direct assessment with my mentor? For the last 3 years of my life, I’ve been dedicating my time, energy, attention, and focus to growing my business. It was a great way to pay the bills, but there’s one thing I regretted NOT learning and acting on it earlier: I never learned how to create and use an automated sales funnel. (And, no, I’m not talking about the kind you set up in the woods to catch trespassers. I’m talking about the sales funnel that’s worth its weight in gold for entrepreneurs and coaches who are trying to grow their businesses.)

And so, while I’m working on my makeup business, I’ve also been pushing myself to get out of the comfort zone and do some very un-aligned things such as the following:

  • I show up (reluctantly many times) on videos - IG/FB/TikTok/YouTube

  • I say yes and even produced TWO international full-blown Virtual Summits because hello, I need to create opportunities when no doors are opened during the pandemic!

  • I show up, speak and share content consistently and actively – when my natural strengths involve more quiet activities like writing and working on behind-the-scenes (#bts) processes and workflows

And because I see a little success here and there on social media, that’s why I keep doing it…

That said, I’m left wondering (again): “What can I do differently? There has got to be a better way.”

With that, I have to say that yes, there absolutely IS a better way to increase your visibility, drive more engagement, get more followers, generate sales, and grow your business...

And for introverts (false extroverts, or anyone else really), there's no better way to show up and sell confidently with ease than using three-part sales funnel! Introvert or not, sales funnel is the most powerful marketing tool that you have available to you. Only if you know how to leverage it to your advantage.

Can you relate, my friend?



As a coach, creator, freelancer, service-based small business owner, entrepreneur, or perhaps you’re just starting out in the online space, you don't have the money to invest in a full-blown, ultra-targeted sales funnel. But that doesn't mean you can't build a three-part sales funnel that will drive qualified and targeted traffic through simple content and lead generation.

The trick is to focus on one single, specific niche. By doing so, you can create a hybrid of low and high-ticket sales funnel that will bring you more leads and sales than you'd ever get if you tried to cast a wider net.

If what you’ve read above already got you seated right at the edge of your chair, and you’re ready to dive right in, get excited now because the rest of this article is going to show you HOW you can start building out your own three-part sales funnel!




Step One: DANGLE A CARROT IN FRONT 🥕 - Offer Something for Free

When you combine any sales funnel platform of your choice e.g. Groove with an Opt-in Page, well… you get a fun little synergy party that leads to a hybrid of low and high-ticket sales funnel. It's really that simple.

So, the first thing you need to get started is an Opt-in page.

See this as a landing page where you need to capture your leads' email addresses and names in exchange for a freebie of your choice.

Your high converting opt-in page should offer your audience the ability to download a free, high-quality freebie/lead magnet and opt-in to your newsletter list at the same time.

Freebies are relatively easy to create and you can start off by using CANVA to do so. If you’re currently active on social media and have been sharing tons of free information such as podcast interviews, virtual summits, or videos, you’ll notice that you spend an awful lot of time producing free information. It’s all well and good to attract people to you on social but now it’s time to move on to the next level - convert your followers into paying customers, by first getting them into your email list.

By implementing the 1st part to your sales funnel - that is to create a freebie/lead magnet opt-in page, this will help you to get more clients and customers by giving them your freebie in exchange for their personal contact information.

Start by being clear and gaining clarity in your direction and what you stand for:

  • What’s your niche?

  • What do people usually come to you for advice for?

  • What are the ways you find yourself most comfortable in letting your expertise shine? e.g. blogging, videos, audio, etc

  • Who is your ideal audience?

  • What delights them? What frustrates them?

  • What solutions are they looking at to address/solve their pain points?

  • How can you help to solve their problems?

After you have dig in DEEP, you need to create value for your followers by providing educational content, such as blog posts, videos, 7-day challenge, PDF Checklist, webinars, eBooks, content upgrades, etc.

At the top of your sales funnel, you want to create and deliver something to attract and capture your people specifically to your niche. It can be a freebie, a chapter from your e-book, a recording of an interview, anything that will showcase your coaching or expertise. In the coaching world, this is often a resource like a free “how-to” guide or an email course.

A sales funnel works best organically when you’ve got truly a huge pool of people and real fans interested in your work. Either that, run a paid campaign with super tailored targeting to drive leads to your funnel.

So while you’re working on creating your low to high ticket offers, also work on beefing up your audience numbers and engaging with your fans and followers on social media. Continue to deliver value to them and amp up your Know, Like & Trust (KLT) factor. For many, trust is earned by having a free opt-in offer.

Step Two: HOOK THEM IN FOR MORE 🪝 - Low Ticket OFFER

Once people have responded to that freebie, I prefer to offer low-priced offers in the second part of my funnel. These types of products give your audience a low-risk way of experiencing you as a person or your business. These low-priced offers can include ebooks, workbooks, PDF checklists, mini-courses, or a membership site.

You’ve gained their trust so now it’s really time to impress them with your knowledge and value that you share. Once they hand out that first payment, it’s definitely easier to sell (upsell/cross-sell) them another item because they already like and trust you.

By charging a small sum for an initial product and creating that positive first-touch experience with your ideal audience after making a purchase, you can entice them to begin the journey through your three-part sales funnel. Most of your followers and fans either cannot afford those high-ticket offers or aren’t ready to commit at that high level. They need to dip their toes in the water before they feel brave enough to take the plunge and say ‘YES’ to themselves and to you.

The second thing you need to create is your Low-Ticket Offer.

See this as a landing page where you need to sell your low-ticket offer and have your people say ‘YES’ to themselves and to you.

Your low-ticket off landing page should offer your audience the ability to understand the value of your offer and how your offer can help to solve their problems. The page should include all relevant features, benefits, pricing, and even FAQs that your ideal audience may have pertaining to your offer even before opening their wallets.

Remember, as this is a low-ticket offer, you don’t want to bite off more than you can chew! So deliver what you really need to deliver, and be really specific with an end in mind.

Ask yourself these questions as you create your low-ticket offer:

  • What is that ONE solution, result, or transformation I can help my ideal audience with?

  • Instead of trying to solve one entire big problem or issue, is there a specific and targeted area that you can hone in and address? e.g. Instead of offering your marketing services for everyone on the planet earth, could you zoom in on offering your services for Service-based Small Business Owners/High-ticket coaches only?

The key to creating low-priced products for your sales funnel is that they should be quick and easy to create. The idea is to pull your expertise out of your head and get it onto paper or video. No extra research necessary… it’s all about what you know. So be generous in sharing your knowledge and expertise.

Decide how you want to deliver your low-ticket offer.

If you’re fabulous on camera, deliver your offer through videos.

If you prefer not to show your face, consider creating a workbook, PDF checklist, or even audio recording.

p.s. Consider pairing up your offers with a variety of content formats so that together, your low-ticket offers are far more enticing than if you were to just offer one format.

Just think about it…

  • You create a digital product once (for starters), over a weekend

  • You package it up with a value-packed PDF workbook, interactive mini-course, or wow-worthy video content course

  • You market, promote, and sell it – over and over again

Which means…

  • You don’t have to “show up” LIVE on your social media platforms if you choose not to

  • You don’t have to coach anyone live or block out huge chunks of your day to “create” or “deliver”

  • You don’t have to continually hope & pray that every day, week, and month you’ll find someone random on social who trusts you enough to invest in your coaching or engage your services

Do you also know you can create multiple low-end products which can help you to grow your business, and yes, you can even do it from the comfort of your home? (in your PJs if you so choose!)

Sounds incredible, right?

Again, your entire business can’t be built on merely giving out freebies, free content, or low ticket offers, but they’re a great way to introduce your services, build trust and credibility with your ideal audience. Plus, they help to bring in steady and FAST cash flow injections to your business.

If you're a coach or consultant, you probably want to be selling your services to clients who are willing to spend more money on your services. Because let's face it, selling your time isn't profitable if you're charging $30 / hour and your clients are willing to pay $200 / hour. That's why you need to have a high ticket sales funnel element involved to get your clients to spend more money with you.

Step Three: A PERSONAL INVITATION 💸 - High ticket OFFER

#TRUTHBOMB Many coaches are struggling to sell high-ticket offers. One of the main reasons being they have little to negligible audience to start with in the first place. No one knows or hears about them or their services.

This brings me back to my first-part sales funnel - you have to build up your base on social media and invite them to opt-in to your freebie/lead magnet so that you can continue to nurture them on the backend via email marketing.

But as many of you hard-working coaches, small business owners, and entrepreneurs already know, those high-priced products and offers (e.g. $997) are designed to serve a small-but-mighty subset of your clients! Not everyone will buy your high-ticket offer, and that’s perfectly normal!

And here’s the thing: high-ticket offers and funnels are not just for the big dogs anymore, they can work for anyone!

The final thing you need to create is your High-Ticket Offer.

See this as a landing page where you need to introduce your high-ticket offer, share a short video of yourself, and invite the RIGHT people to apply for a call with you.

Your high-ticket offer will require a personal, high-touch experience and a different set of strategies to get in clients. One of the more common ways is through an application call where verification and qualification of the applicants for the higher-ticket programs will be done through these calls and see if they are truly a great fit for the programs.

p.s. Many times, it’s better to turn away a poorly fit prospect than to accept them into your program or services, for the sake of your sanity, time, energy, and well…. profitability.

One key to a successful three-part sales funnel is pricing your offers accordingly and in reasonable increments.

If you have a monthly membership site offered at $49/month, offering a high-level mastermind retreat for $10,000 is too much of a jump and extremely unrealistic! Instead, offer a $499 group coaching package to a $3K 1:1 private coaching alongside your course.

I’ve found that this process can really take a lot of the workload off you so that you can focus on your business, instead of working in your business.

Having ONE high ticket offer is imperative to help you STOP trading time for money; you’re leveraging your time for scalability.

Real talk time:

  1. Juggling your social media across multiple platforms is exhausting.

Your high ticket offer is where you make most of your time and profits, your low ticket offer is the place where you'll build a relationship with your new fans, and your opt-in free offer is to encourage them to connect with you not just on social media, but also to become your email subscriber, with the end goal of getting them to invest in your high ticket offer.

At the end of the day, knowing your ideal audience (your niche and your messaging) is essential in creating your three-part sales funnel, otherwise, you’ll lose people midway through the funnel before they ever make it to your higher-level ticket offer.

Once the three-part sales funnel system is implemented, you can sit back after all of your hard (and heart) sowing, and reap the rewards and benefits which will help bring in your ideal audience and get more KA-ching even in your sleep! 💰

You don’t need to sit down and start writing thousands of words a day or recording dozens of videos. Instead, sort through what you already have and find a way to bundle items together or combine like items into ebooks, reports, PDF checklists, templates, audio files, or video classes. You need to start dominating your niche with your content and offers.
